US News & World Report recently published their first-ever rankings of public elementary schools. Demorest Elementary School placed among the top 30% of schools in the state of Georgia, earning DES the designation of being a US News Best Elementary School.
Student achievement data, along with other school data from the 2018-19 school year were analyzed for the ranking.
