Counseling Mission Statement

The mission of Demorest Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program that addresses academic support, personal and social skills development, and the exploration of career interests. The counselor at Demorest Elementary partners with teachers, administrators, parents and the community to help all students acquire the attitudes and skills needed to overcome barriers in life. The end goal is to foster lifelong learning, problem solving, perseverance, and emotional wellbeing.
