Local author/illustrator Jason Fowler spent the day at Demorest Elementary on Wednesday, Feb. 28th. He talked about how he began illustrating books and eventually started writing books of his own. He discussed the many steps of writing your own book including: coming up with an idea, brainstorming, editing, and sending the book to the publisher. Students were given an opportunity to buy his books.
